Dr. Matthew R. Hileman
Dr. Hileman received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of San Diego in 1997 and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley in 2002. Dr. Hileman immediately began practicing in St. Helena. In 2004, Dr. Hileman purchased the practice of Dr. Charles Bailey. Dr. Hileman specializes in hard to fit contact lens wearers, dry eye management, pediatric vision care, and the treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Hileman participates in the Infant SEE public health program that is spearheaded by former President Jimmy Carter. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Redwood Empire Optometric Association. Dr. Hileman is also a part-time clinical professor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry where he shares his expertise with students working their way to becoming doctors of optometry. Dr. Hileman enjoys tending to patient’s needs and concerns when he is not busy spending time with his son Andrew. |
